The following is a partial chronology of RMTA conferences from our begriming in 1951 to the present:

  • 1951 - Colorado Women’s College (Now Denver University)
  • 1952 – 1964 Not known (Research required)
  • 1965 - Weber State University in Ogden, Utah (Became known as RMTC)
  • 1966 – 1967 Not known (Research required)
  • 1968 - University of Utah in Salt Lake City
  • 1969 - Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado
  • 1970 - Brigham Young University – Provo, Utah
  • 1971 - University of Colorado at Boulder
  • 1972 - Weber State University in Ogden, Utah
  • 1973 - University of Wyoming in Laramie
  • 1974 - Boise State University (Membership voted to become RMTA)
  • 1975 - No conference due to change in schedule from fall to spring; and joined with ACTF to offer the annual festival.

  • 1978 - Montana State University – Bozeman
